Ace Hotel - Shoreditch

Want to enjoy the magic of one of London’s most creative, engaged district? You definitely should take a tour to the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch.

Ace Hotel is a chain of hotels situated around the world, especially in America (NYC, palm springs, Seattle, panama, LA,..) The one located in London is a place where art, design, culinary innovation, culture interweave perfectly.

The hotel offers many and varies events such as Jamaican nights on Monday, drawing classes, orquestra, afternoon teas and many others that you can check online. There is even a flower shop at the top. Ace Hotel radiates of a youth spirit and a proper London vide. Events and Food services start at 6 pm expanding into the unknowable reaches of the night.

There’s a beautiful rooftop that's great for business meetings, private receptions, social gatherings, dinners or whatever else you need an expansive room for.

Plus you'll have access to the wide, panoramic terrace. If it can be considered as a bit expensive you can surely have a go at the lobby bar. It’s a simple, urban and nails NYC low key cool, with a mix of clients such as multiple hipsters meeting for cocktails, freelancers with Mac Book Pro and London micro-brewed beers. The drinks are incredible and decently priced at 9£.

The restaurant Hoi Polloi is also apparently very good, even though I never ate there. It has really good reviews and you can go there for break first, quick lunch or dinner. Have a look on the menu but brunches and break first as well as drinks are very affordable and the rest of the menu is at average prices.

However my favorite part of this hotel is the club Miranda located in the basement of Ace Hotel. Miranda entertainment has made its reputation on the stellar late-night programming that's defined the space since its inception. All while keeping most events and entry absolutely free. Seven nights a week, the club is bustling with an eclectic cross-section of expertly-curated culture — live performances by the likes of Oneohtrix Point Never, MF Doom, Gwilym Gold, Alexis Taylor and Julia Kent blend seamlessly with scholarly talks by Super/Collider, dance nights like queer hip hop phenomenon Hard Cock Life, reggae monthly Four Aces and the After Work Dance Club.

Programming now comes early in the evening, too, with a diverse schedule that'll keep you guessing — but never about the quality.

So, if you are looking for a great and typically Londonning night out or just want to chill in Shoreditch, during the day or before/after going out definitely pass through Ace Hotel. You won’t regret it!
